Welcome to the Harris Family Blog

We've created this blog for those of you who may want to see photos of our little angel Hooper and see what he's been doing. We're sorry he's almost 2 weeks old before we could get this up and going, but we just have no idea what we have been doing with our time lately, ha! Bear with us as this is brand new to us....in other words, we have no idea what we're doing here. We're going to post photos and a little journal on here of Hooper to record his life. So check in often for updates and new pictures.

Thank you for visiting and happy looking! We love you! Dee, Daphney and Hooper

First picture of Mommy and Baby together. For the life of me, I don't remember this being taken! It couldn't be the drugs, could it??
Can you say "proud Daddy?"
First Family photo.

When Aut held Hooper he said the sweetest thing, "my prayers have been answered."
It's not often that we get a picture of Sue Sue, she's usually taking the pictures. I think Hooper is very happy in her arms! He's practicing saying "cheese" to her already.
Don and Frances Harris, Hooper's Pa-paw and Ma-maw drove all the way from Tennessee to see their new grandson. Hooper got his name from Don's mother, Ruby Hooper Harris. Hooper was her maiden name. We think Hooper got Frances' hands and fingers, pretty and long. She hopes he will use them to play basketball like she did.

4 Generations.

Hooper got his middle name from his Memaw, Pauline Haywood Davis. Haywood was her maiden name an since she does not have a middle name Haywood became her middle name when she married. Hooper is very proud to have the same middle name as his Memaw!

Below are some random Hooper Pictures taken over the past two weeks. They're in order from his earliest days to the most recent being at the end.

Tennessee Bound! This was Hooper's "going home" outfit. People could see the orange coming for miles!

One of Hooper's favorite things to do is lying on his Daddy's chest.
Tummy time wears him out!

His favorite toy is his "worm." It's actually a centipede but the word worm is much easier to say over and over. Thanks Shewmake, Hooper LOVES it!!!

Oops, he found his fingers.

Hooper is mezmorized by all his stuffed animals in his crib.

Aut and Sue Sue gave Hooper his first fishing pole and tackle box. He's off to dreamland thinking of all the fun he is going to have with it!

OK............All I have heard is how beautiful this baby is. I think Grandpa's words were "not a blemish on his face!"(Don is hanging around Donna way to much!)We (your extended family) are so excited for all of ya'll. And we can't wait for his first visit to TN. I think it might even call for a parade.
Love to all of ya'll!!!
